A Pair of Lionheart Siberian Forest Cats

Family Bred Siberian Litters

We believe that genetic variation is necessary for the short and long term viability of the Siberian Forest Cat.  We have researched pedigrees and imported some of the most diverse and indigenous bloodlines the breed has to offer.  Our family maintains a small, select breeding program focusing on sound temperament, beautiful type, health, and raising well rounded, socialized, very adaptable and versatile kittens.  We take a holistic approach when raising our cats and kittens which takes into account their physical, mental and emotional well-being through a balanced diet, including meat and eggs produced right here on our farm.  We also encourage a wide variety of mental/physical activity, and supportive vet care to promote overall wellness. We produce only a few select and carefully planned litters a year, so joining our waitlist is highly recommended.

Our kittens are priced at $3,000, and only placed in pet/companion homes.  Our prices are firm and reflect the care, time and vast expense of our program.  The first step in the purchase process of a Lionheart kitten is to fill out the inquiry form on our website.  We then can follow up with an email and phone conversation.  We do not accept deposits for our litters until kittens are at least two weeks of age.  At this time we can accept a $500 non-refundable deposit which is applied to the total price of the kitten.  Our kittens are examined by a licensed veterinarian and go home with an official health certificate, health records, age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings and a spay/neuter contract. Copies of pedigrees available upon request.  Please refer to our philosophy page as to why we do not register our kittens.

We understand that adding a new kitten to the family is a big decision and commitment.  It's our goal to place our kittens where they have the best chance of living out their natural lives.  It's also our goal to make every effort to ensure our kitten families will be happy with their little bundle of joy.  We like to learn a bit about our prospective families to ensure our kittens are joining loving, safe homes, so please tell us a bit about yourself and what drew you to the Siberian breed!   We take the time to understand your wishes and needs and we will always be respectful and honest!  Please contact us with any questions.  We love to talk about our cats and kittens!

Lionheart Siberian Forest Cat

Kitten Delivery Ages

Responsible breeders will not let Siberian kittens join their new families until at least twelve to sixteen weeks of age.  This is an extremely slow maturing breed of cat that takes time to develop both mentally and

physically.  During this time with us, the kittens mother teaches her little ones basic manners and thresholds for playing.  We will let her naturally wean her kittens when she feels it's time.  This being a big growth phase for the mind and body, we take full advantage by exposing our kittens to everything a busy family and household has to offer!  Our kittens are handled from birth and when ready, join in the family activities.  The kittens are raised with children of various ages, our adult cats and our household dogs both large and small.  They are familiar with many sights, sounds and smells making for a confident and adaptable kitten that can fit into any home and lifestyle.

We offer safe and professional transport for our kittens.  Depending on location and type of transport, prices vary between 450-750 dollars.  Transport is an additional cost.

Lionheart Siberians reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at anytime for any reason.  Our kittens are part of our family and we want to ensure they are going to the best homes possible!

A NOTE REGARDING HOME VISITS:

Please do not take it as a red flag as Lionheart Siberians does not allow home visits.  We are not irresponsible.  Allowing strangers into our home can be potentially dangerous to our family.  Theft and disease can be a real issue.  Good communication, photos, facetime and videos are all ways to track the progress of your chosen kitten.
